Agape (love) is the most beautiful word in Greek (2021)

Unaccompanied minor refugees. Where do they come from, how and why? What are their needs and dreams? Do they go to school like other children their age? And if they go, how do they feel there? Where are the children who do not go to school, at the same time that their peers are in class? These and many other questions are born through the documentary "Love is the most beautiful word in Greek". There are no easy answers, no ready-made recipes. Everyone answers in their own way the main question "who are these children?". And from this answer the future is judged, not only of the unaccompanied minor refugees, but also of all the children.

The film was completed as part of the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC SOCIETY project "Teaching to Hope: Saving the education of refugee teens during and after the pandemic's school shutdowns".
