"3rd International Festival of the Sea" - THALASSODROMIES
Wednesday 5th of August at the Beach Front of Ierapetra.
A unique sporting event dedicated to the sea, swimming, and the joy of participation. Children, young people, and adults come together in the water to compete across various distances and swimming strokes, showcasing sportsmanship, teamwork, and a love for sport.

• 25m swim (freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke)
for children born in 2016 and 2017.

• 50m swimming (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly)
for children born in 2014 and 2015.
• 4x50m medley relay.

• 100m freestyle for children born in 2013 or earlier.
• 100m freestyle for adults.
19:00–19:20
400m freestyle for adults.
The day concludes with the message that the sea is not merely a place for sports, but a source of life, joy, freedom, and togetherness. Through the participation of people of all ages, the 3rd International Sea Festival highlights the value of fair play and teamwork, while fostering respect and love for the marine environment.
