Movie Story
Ted is a portrait of a disabled artist who strives for acceptance from mainstream society. The main character, Ted Gramboarini, is a painter, composer, and musician in his late 30s. He has cerebral palsy, seizure disorder, and visual processing impairment, and combines his innate interest in music with rhythmic strokes in the expression of art. Ted slowly unveils his family life, romantic relationship, and friendship within his studio band Van Go Go. The film asks for audiences to rethink their disabilities, relationships, and capabilities.
