Summary

The documentary illuminates aspects of the life of my grandfather Nikos Papakogos, who was a poet and fighter of the National Resistance and the Democratic Army of Greece. It is an essay film and a research journey through space and time about what I know and learn about my grandfather. Nikos Papakogos was the first of the spiritual trinity of the National Resistance to be executed by Greek volleys in 1947 during the Civil War. He was only 29 years old and "he also had the tragic fate of Lorca", writes Aris Velouhiotis' brother, Babis Klaras.
