He was born in 1962.
He studied political science and directing. He has directed documentaries on television with social, political and historical themes and two film documentaries: "The House of Cain" which explores the existential situation of seven everyday people who committed murder and "Raw Material", a film immersed in the most miserable neighborhoods of Athens to discover the invisible connection between the slums of immigrants and the Greek steel industry. Both films were honored with awards and distinctions in Greece and abroad.
He teaches documentaries at the University of Athens, Stavrakos Private School and for the past 5 years has been running his own, annual documentary workshop that has already shaped a core of young creators and produced three feature-length documentaries in theaters and international festivals.
He has recently been working on the screenplay for his first fiction film ("Power of Inaction" in collaboration with Homemade Films and Natasha Segou) and in the Production of his new documentary entitled "Future Tenses" (Homemade Films / Sister Films / EKK / ERT) on the relationship between the lower social strata and the future, as it was formed in Greece after the crisis and in faraway China after decades of development.
