Bread and a Blanket (2021)

It is Monday, December 13, 1943 and their small town
Kalavrita is set on fire by its occupying army
Nazi Germany, while the entire male population,
Concentrated on a nearby hill is destroyed by fire.
This war crime will go down in history together
with the massacre of the Aqui Division, as the largest mass
murder in Greece during World War II
War. Three men who lived these events as
children, locked up with other children, women and
the elderly in the primary school of Kalavrita,
remember this traumatic experience.
