He studied directing at the Royal College of Fine Arts in London.

The feature-length documentary by Dolphin Man (2017), an international co-production on the subject of freestyle diving legend Jacques Mayol, was screened at:

  • Tokyo International Film Festival
  • Miami Film Festival
  • Angers Premiers Plans
  • Thessaloniki Film Festival

The film has been distributed in theaters in many countries, including Japan, Canada, France and Italy.

He won the awards for best documentary and first-time director from the Hellenic Film Academy.

In 2019-2020 he directed the successful series Wild Bees for Antenna.

He has directed many fiction films and documentaries on Greek television, such as the acclaimed series of historical documentaries 1821 and The Journey of Food, as well as the police series Defense Zone.

Along with directing, he has extensive academic experience, working as head of the film department and lecturer at SAE Creative Media College.
