He was born in Serres.

He holds a degree in Civil Engineering and a degree in Film and TV Directing from the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos.

He works as director at ERT. He is the Head of the Co-Production Department and the President of the Cinema Committee. He has directed three short films, about thirty documentaries, many hours TV programs, an opera and theatrical performances.

His last documentary “Andeas Lentakis – A romantic fighter” has participated in international festivals and won the award for the Best Creative Documentary in London Greek Film Festival in 2017.
