Summary

Manolis Parasiris, a breeder as main profession, is released after an adventure involving his name in an illegal organization. At the time of his imprisonment, he wrote two books in a rhyme. Through his books, we see his love for Cretan poetry and mythology. Faithful to the traditions of Crete, he describes the life of the shepherd through his mitatus. At the same time, he shares his memories, the ways of binding the Cretan towel and the oracle bones.
